Privacy Policy for Amigo AI

Amigos AI Inc. ("Amigo," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our face swap mobile application ("App") and related website ("Services") handle information.

1. Summary — On-Device Processing

Amigo is designed for privacy. All face swap and image processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos, videos, face data, and any content you create with the App never leave your device — they are never uploaded to, transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by Amigo or any third party.

The only information we receive is:

  • Purchase data — subscription and in-app purchase records processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, used to deliver and manage the products you have purchased.
  • Anonymous, non-tracking analytics — aggregated, de-identified usage statistics (e.g., crash reports, App version, feature usage counts) that help us improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity, does not track you across apps or websites, and is not used for advertising.
  • Voluntary communications — information you provide if you contact us directly (e.g., support emails).

We do not collect, upload, or store: your photos, videos, face images, facial geometry, biometric identifiers, voice recordings, generated content, profile information, contacts, location, IP-based tracking identifiers used for advertising, or any other personal content.

2. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If there are material changes, we will notify you as required by applicable law. By continuing to use our Services after the new Privacy Policy takes effect, you agree to the updated Privacy Policy.

3. Information We Collect

3.1. Information You Provide to Us Directly

Purchases: When you make a purchase or subscribe, our payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play) provide us with a transaction identifier and basic purchase metadata (product purchased, purchase date, currency, country of the App Store account, restore/refund status). We do not receive your full payment card information.

Communications with Us: If you email us for support or other inquiries, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

3.2. Information Collected Automatically

Anonymous Analytics: We collect aggregated, non-personally-identifiable analytics about App usage, including App version, device type and operating system version, crash reports, language/region, and counts of feature usage. These analytics are not used to track you across apps or websites, are not associated with your identity, and are not shared with advertising networks.

What We Do NOT Collect: We do not collect your photos, videos, face data, biometric identifiers, voice recordings, contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) for tracking, or any content you generate within the App.

4. On-Device Face Processing

The App's face swap functionality is performed by machine learning models that run entirely on your device. Photos and videos you select, the facial features the App detects from them, and the resulting outputs are processed locally and remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them through your device's share functionality (e.g., to a messaging app or social network) — in which case the third-party platform's privacy policy governs that content.

Because no facial data, biometric identifiers, or images are transmitted to our servers, Amigo has no access to and cannot retrieve, view, or recover content you create with the App.

5. How We Use Information

We use the limited information described in Section 3 to:

  • Deliver and manage purchases, subscriptions, restores, and refunds;
  • Provide customer support in response to your inquiries;
  • Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve App performance and stability;
  • Understand aggregate, anonymous usage patterns to improve the App;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or cross-app/website tracking.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Payment Processors: Apple App Store and Google Play process purchases on our behalf. Their handling of your payment data is governed by their respective privacy policies.
  • Analytics Providers: Anonymous, aggregated analytics may be processed by industry-standard mobile analytics providers under contractual data-protection terms. The data shared is not personally identifiable and is not used for tracking or advertising.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to comply with valid legal process, protect rights and safety, or enforce our Terms — but because we do not collect content, photos, videos, or biometric data, we cannot produce that information regardless of the request.
  • Business Transfers: If Amigo undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, the limited information we hold may be transferred. We will notify users of any change in ownership of personal data.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live (including residents of California, the EU/EEA, the UK, and other jurisdictions), you may have the right to:

  • Access the limited information we hold about you (purchase records, support correspondence);
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. To delete content created within the App, simply remove it from your device — we have no copy on our servers.

8. Security

Because the App keeps your photos, videos, and face data on your device, the most important security control is your device itself (lock screen, OS updates, etc.). For the limited information we do receive (purchase records, support emails, anonymous analytics), we use commercially reasonable safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of any electronic data.

9. Data Retention

Because the App does not upload or store your photos, videos, or face data, there is nothing for Amigo to retain on its servers regarding your in-App content. Purchase records are retained as required by Apple/Google and applicable tax and consumer-protection law. Support correspondence is retained as long as needed to assist you and to comply with legal obligations. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregated form only.

10. International Data Transfers

The limited information we collect (purchase records, support emails, anonymous analytics) may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

11. Children's Information

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the App. If we learn that we have inadvertently received information from someone under 18, we will delete it. Use of face swap features on images of minors is strictly prohibited under our Terms of Service.

12. Third-Party Links and Platforms

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, and the App may allow you to share content you create using your device's standard share sheet. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Once you share content to a third-party platform, that platform's privacy policy applies.

13. Do Not Track

Because we do not engage in cross-site or cross-app tracking, we do not have tracking mechanisms to disable. Our website does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

14. Amendments

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above will reflect the latest revision. Continuing to use our Services after amendments take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
